Heinz ketchup returns to TV for first time in 5 years

By Natalie Mortimer Heinz is set to release a pan European TV advert for Heinz Tomato Ketchup, marking five years since the brand last advertised on the medium in the UK. Ten different versions of the ad have been created to reflect local tastes when it comes to eating ketchup, using the strapline ‘It has to be Heinz’. Donald Trump stumped in Fred and Rose West ‘inspiration’ tweet

By John McCarthy US tycoon Donald Trump was left looking like a fool after he obliviously retweeted an image of Fred and Rose West which claimed the couple were inspired by the billionaire. The image, first tweeted to Trump by a sneaky troll, has already been retweeted over 1,500 times after being retweeted to the account’s 2.7m followers on Monday afternoon. Infographic: 92% of marketers plan to spend the majority of their social marketing budget on Facebook this Christmas

By Natalie Mortimer A whopping 92 per cent of marketers will spend the majority of their social marketing budget on Facebook this Christmas, according to a new survey by digital marketing platform Offerpop. The company surveyed 120 marketing professionals to garner their marketing plans in the run up to the Christmas season, and found that only 4 per cent plan to spend the bulk of their budgets on other social platforms.
