By John McCarthy It has been called many things, sparked countless office battles and split opinion throughout the world, nonetheless, THAT dress became the centre of attention courtesy of a simple optical illusion. On Friday the dress went viral, trending in the UK on Twitter with four separate hashtags #TheDress, #DressGate #WhiteandGold, and #BlackandBlue. ​The only thing social media users were incapable of agreeing on was its actual colour.
