Fart.Watch developer bummed at Apple Watch ban

By John McCarthy Apple has taken the unique position of issuing a statement announcing a ban of fart apps on the Apple Watch. Fart.Watch, a soundboard app which launched with the smartwatch on Friday (24 April), has been rejected by the Californian firm despite similar apps existing on the iPhone. The app, which enables pranksters to hide their iPhone and trigger bouts of flatulence from it using the Apple Watch wearable, has been rejected from the platform by Apple. Engine scoops E.ON’s integrated marketing account

By Jennifer Faull E.ON has extended Engine’s remit, appointing the agency to its integrated marketing account following a competitive pitch earlier this month. Engine was appointed to E.ON’s digital account – which included social media, user-experience, CRM, creative and mobile activity – last year. Soon after the energy brand called a review in the hunt for a single agency to lead an integrated strategy. EHS previously handled direct marketing while DLKW Lowe has worked with the brand since 2010 but didn’t repitch for the account.
