Ben & Jerry’s celebrates marriage equality with ‘I Dough, I Dough’ ice cream

By Minda Smiley Ben & Jerry’s is temporarily renaming its ‘Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough’ ice cream to ‘I Dough, I Dough’ in honor of the US Supreme Court ruling in favor of same-sex marriage nationwide. It will be available this summer at participating Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shops throughout the US. It can also be purchased online through the ‘Human Rights Campaign’ website, a LGBT civil rights organization. Comedy Central sending off Daily Show host Jon Stewart by streaming all of his episodes online

By Minda Smiley Comedy Central is saying goodbye to ‘Daily Show’ host Jon Stewart with a ‘#JonVoyage’ that includes an online stream of his more than 2,000 episodes. Called ‘Your Month of Zen,’ the stream begins with his first show from 11 January 1999. It will run continuously from 26 June until 6 August, his last day as host. On 2 August, Comedy Central will air ‘News Your Own Adventure,’ a one-hour special produced by ‘The Daily Show’ and hosted by correspondents Jordan Klepper, Hasan Minhaj, and Jessica Williams that will feature favorite segments from the show that were voted on by fans. On Friday 26 June, the Supreme Court of the United States ruled that same-sex marriage is a right in a 5-4 decision.
