Nick Stringer, the chief creative officer of News UK, is leaving the company after three years

Stringer, who previously worked as a partner at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, is planning to take a short career break before planning his next move. Aldi to launch online store as it looks to continue record sales haul

By Seb Joseph Aldi is moving into online retail next year as it looks to build on its record annual sales in 2014. The no-frills supermarket will start selling wine by the case before peddling non-food special offers in the spring. Shoppers will either have their orders delivered to their homes or to third party locations for collection. BBC Radio London returns after almost three decades in BBC London 94.9 rebrand

By John McCarthy BBC London 94.9 has announced its intention to rebrand as BBC Radio London, marking a return of the station’s retro name. The rebrand will switchover 6 October, to coincide with the original launch of the brand in 1970. A commemorative day of broadcasts, looking back on the station’s heritage will take place in the BT Tower which also celebrates its 50th anniversary that the same week. Presenters Penny Smith and Paul Ross will chat with original hosts such as Robbie Vincent, discussing how the phone-in has changed with the digital revolution. Facebook debuts new video ad buying tools to win over TV advertisers

By Ronan Shields Facebook has kicked off Ad Week New York with the announcement of new advertising tools that let brands better synchronise their ad campaigns across screens, using Target Ratings Points (TRP) as a measurement metric, plus enhanced brand awareness tools.
