A statement released to coincide with the final day of Dismaland, claimed that local businesses saw a 20 per cent boom. With the update, Facebook becomes more of a blogging platform with users capable of adding specialised cover photos to their texts. The major overhaul of the Notes feature also enables writers to caption and resize photos and format text into headers, quotes or bullets. Notably, vinyl sales generated more revenue for artists than free versions of Spotify, YouTube and Vevo combined, according to research from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
