Suit Supply 'Toy Boys' campaign accused of being sexist towards women, founder argues the opposite

By John McCarthy A provocative ad campaign from a Dutch fashion company has been widely branded as sexist and misogynist by social media users – however the brand has argued that its creative shows the power of women and underlines the fact that females are titans. A campaign called ‘Toy Boy’s from Suit Supply shows a series of miniaturised suited and booted chaps interacting with scantily clad titan models. Forms of interaction include breast riding, undressing and more – sparking dissent online. Liverpool FC sponsorship with Chinese automaker MG Auto will yield Liverpool-themed cars

By Tony Connelly Liverpool have strengthened their flourishing sponsorship portfolio after agreeing a deal with Chinese automotive firm MG Auto in an unusual partnership that will give birth to a Liverpool-themed vehicle. The 18 month partnership will make MG Auto the official Chinese automotive partner for the remainder of this season and the entirety of next. To celebrate the partnership MG Auto are reportedly planning to launch a Liverpool FC-themed vehicle. No further details are yet known but the Liverpool branded product follows a similar pledge from the club’s Chinese TV partner PPTV who made 5,000 Liverpool themed TVs. LG, Samsung and Sony among top ten brands talked about on Twitter at Mobile World Congress

By Minda Smiley LG, Samsung and Sony were the top three most-talked about brands on Twitter during this year’s Mobile World Congress (MWC), according to data from global tech communications agency Hotwire. According to Hotwire, there were more than 400,000 tweets sent out with the hashtag ‘#MWC16′ over the span of the week. With 44,482 mentions, LG was the most talked-about brand at the event this year. Samsung was mentioned 40,873 times while Sony raked in 21,472 tweets. Rounding out the top ten list, Huawei, Xiaomi, Lenovo, HTC, Android, Lenovo and Qualcomm also generated a decent amount of buzz on social media.
