Created by Campbell Ewald, the spot aims to take viewers “through the inner thoughts of a swimmer” as they train for the Olympics. The video, which has been voted by US Creative Works readers as Ad of the Week, touts chocolate milk as a serious recovery beverage for athletes. McDonald's wants to remind people it's open 24 hours in latest spot

By Natalie Mortimer McDonald’s is aiming to remind customers that over 600 of its stores are open 24 hours in the fast food chain’s latest campaign called ‘We are awake’. Created by Leo Burnett London, the 60-second and two-30 second TV adverts feature real people as they go about their evening and night time activities from studying to feeding a baby, before visiting a McDonald’s restaurant. According to the publisher, the changes aim to “create a cleaner layout for the magazine, with a punchy, graphic feel and a distinct partnership between immediate, browsable content, and longer and richer stories”.
