I know SXSW has its critics but in my opinion it is an amazing five days of varied talks, debates over BBQ and chance meetings. Anti-advertising group picks on Oglivy, TBWA et al in guerrilla campaign

By Katie Deighton The anti-advertising group Brandalism has installed a series of posters outside the offices of large UK agencies, including Ogilvy, J Walter Thompson, AMV BBDO and TBWA, calling on the industry to ‘switch sides’. The campaign references work the companies have delivered for the likes of BP and the British Army and calls on creatives to ditch their corporate clients in favour of changing the world. Brandalism claims the signage, which has been installed without permission, and was developed with the help of former advertising employees. ITV's Good Morning Britain taken off air following fire at studios, so stars stop to take selfies

By Rebecca Stewart Stars have been forced to leave ITV’s studios on London’s south bank following a fire which interrupted a live broadcast of the channel’s flagship Good Morning Britain show. 50 people have been evacuated safely from the building, with London Fire Brigade stating that the blaze had taken over a room on the first floor of the building and there had been no injuries. Playboy owner eyes sale following 'non-nudity' rebrand

By Rebecca Stewart Playboy Enterprises, the parent group of Playboy magazine, is reportedly exploring a sale which could see it fetch up to $500m. The move comes hot on the heels of the publication’s ‘non-nude’ revamp, which was designed to bring it into the digital age. Sources familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal that the adult entertainment empire, owned by Hugh Hefner is considering putting itself on the market.
