The global entertainment media company selected Arena Media to manage all media planning, buying, strategy and reporting across A+E Networks UK’s portfolio which includes brands such as HISTORY, Lifetime, Crime + Investigation and H2. The Havas Media Group-owned agency will also be tasked with the launch of A+E Networks’ first UK Free-to-Air channel later this year. William Hill has fired its chief executive James Henderson

Henderson, who was promoted in 2014 after Ralph Topping retired, was let go after the board said he was failing to deliver enough growth in online and international gambling. The previous operations director received £914,417 ($2.1m) in salary and benefits in 2015 and will receive a 12 months notice with no bonus for 2016. By Tony Connelly Liverpool have become the first Premier League club to broadcast a match using 360-degree technology after live streaming their latest pre-season friendly to fans around the world. The Merseyside club showed their game against Huddersfield Town, which they won 2-0, last night (20 July) live on YouTube using a 360-degree camera. It proved a popular move in the context of a pre-season friendly fixture, generating over 60,000 views on YouTube.The stream was also accompanied by live commentary from the club’s own TV broadcast platform, LFCTV. Tinder Social update enables group hook-ups - no, not like that

The app update, which was being tested earlier this year, has been launched in six markets, including the US and UK, and has been made available to Tinder users in these regions.
