Apple set to be clobbered as US attacks 'sweetheart' deal bringing jobs to Ireland

By Noel Young The European Union’s antitrust regulator is expected to rule as soon as today (Tuesday) that Apple’s tax arrangements with Ireland have breached the EU state-aid rules. The Wall Street Journal reports that analysts expect the commission to require Apple to pay back anywhere between $200 million and as much as $19 billion. Reuters said Dublin would be told to recoup over 1 billion euros in back taxes. Latest ad tool proves vertical video is no joke – and Snapchat may rule the world
