Tribeca Film Festival and IBM team up for ‘Storytellers with Watson’ competition

By Minda Smiley In partnership with the Tribeca Film Festival, IBM is inviting artists, filmmakers and other creatives to participate in its inaugural ‘Storytellers with Watson’ competition. Those who wish to participate will be asked to submit ideas on how they would apply Watson‘s cognitive computing technology to storytelling mediums such as film, video, web, gaming, augmented reality and virtual reality. Apple to bring its Search Ads service to the UK in first expansion since launch

By Tony Connelly Apple is rolling out its Search Ads feature in the UK, marking the first expansion of the service since its US launch in September. The company announced the news via its notifications menu in the Search Ads web client where it confirmed that the service would go live on 25 April in the UK, Australia and New Zealand.
