Google launches the Grand Tour of Italy as part of arts and culture platform

By Tony Connelly Google has partnered with an array of Italian cultural institutions to create the Grand Tour of Italy, a virtual reality experience which takes viewers on an immersive journey through Italy’s history and culture. The programme is available through the Google Arts and Culture platform- an online portal where the public can access high-resolution images of artworks housed in the initiative’s partner museums and is designed to showcase the impact of Italian culture on the rest of the world. Nike continues equality drive with latest 'BeTrue' collection for LGBT causes

By Tony Connelly Nike will see the return of its campaign for LGBTQ causes after announcing a new ‘Be True’ collection would launch on 1 June. The initiative started six years ago as a an employee-led grassroots program inspired by the benefits diversity can bring to communities and workplaces. It has since grown into an annual campaign centred around new rainbow themed collections which have helped raised around $2.5m in the US for LGBT causes.
