Manchester City partners Barclays to strengthen ties with US fans during the summer tour

By Taruka Srivastav Manchester City FC has named Barclays as the club’s official banking and credit card tour partner to expand its US sponsors portfolio. As part of the deal, the Barclays logo will feature on back of playing shirt for City pre-season matches in the US this summer. Barclays will further launch Manchester City promotions and competitions to mark the club’s upcoming visit to the United States. Trinity Mirror to rebrand as Reach to reflect new found scale

Cochlear wants to raise awareness of hearing issues with software that personalises content to ability

The idea behind the campaign is to promote Cochlear’s technology, which adapts to a user’s needs, rather than just turning everything up. Ladbrokes to cut sports sponsorship spending by £8m due to FOBT

By Taruka Srivastav UK bookmaker Ladbrokes Coral is set to cut £8m it spends each year on sponsoring sports as a result of the new rules being contemplated by the UK government on gaming machines. The UK government is to combat online gambling and will try to cut maximum stakes on Fixed Odds Betting Terminals (FOBT) from £100 to as little as £2 according to the BBC.
