Publicis Media UK chief Sue Frogley hails new Television Centre home for its agencies as 'iconic'

By Stephen Lepitak Publicis Media UK’s recently installed chief executive, Sue Frogley has hailed the former BBC building in White City as ‘an iconic location steeped in rich heritage’ following the company’s announcement to move over 2,000 of its staff into the premises. Publicis Media will unite its seven media agency brands and supporting businesses within the recently refurbished BBC Television Centre site, where iconic TV programmes such as Blue Peter and Doctor Who were once filmed. 'Agencies should think like consultancies': Colenso taps former Accenture exec to lead transformation

Edwin Rozells spent the past three years in Singapore growing Accenture’s digital strategy capabilities through thought leadership, service offering, training and recruitment of digital strategy resources around the region. Australian advertising bodies AANA and ASB to merge boards

By Danielle Long The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA) and the Advertising Standards Bureau (ASB) will merge boards in a bid to achieve “better governance oversight”. The move, which was agreed in a joint board meeting, will see the creation of a single board for the two bodies which will incorporate advertisers, members of the advertising industry and the wider community. The board will be elected in November. Chip Shop-style ‘Trivago’ ad promises customers more bang for their buck

By John Glenday A spoof ‘Trivago’ ad showcasing the full spectrum of hotel room experiences in grainy mobile phone footage has become a hit on YouTube as people check in to see one couple’s steamy night of passion, next door to a bored man gazing out at the street. The contrasting nights out made for great satire as the 10-second clip, shot by a mystery voyeur across the street, was cheekily re-appropriated with Trivago branding alongside the slogan ‘Same room.
