Australian Red Cross is urging partners of pregnant women to become blood donors

By Danielle Long The Australian Red Cross Blood Service is encouraging the partners of pregnant women to show their support by giving blood. The ‘She Gives Birth, You Give Blood’ campaign, aims to generate awareness of the need for regular blood donors by shining a light on the one in five women who will need a blood transfusion during their pregnancy. The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence installs 'gun-sharing station' to highlight the problem of easy gun access

By Taruka Srivastav Gun safety organisation the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence has partnered with The Escape Pod to create an art installation featuring a ‘gun-sharing station’ in Chicago to spark an important conversation about gun violence and gun laws. The installation, titled ‘Chicago Gun Share Program’, appears like a bike-sharing station but with 10 replicas of AR-15 rifles highlighting how easy it is to access guns. Creative recreates ‘Fearless Girl’ to win job at McCann’s

By Taruka Srivastav McCann’s Bristol has offered a one month placement to Jade Delaney who transformed herself into the ‘Fearless Girl’ statue. The ‘Fearless Girl’ statue which stares down US Wall Street’s famous “Charging Bull” was created by McCann and has generated a huge amount of media attention since it was installed. Jade mimicked the pose of the fearless girl and painted her clothes, shoes and skin color into gold and waited outside McCann Bristol’s office. Cisco to remove ads from YouTube through brand safety concerns

A Cisco blog by Karen Walker, chief marketing officer, initially stated: “At Cisco, we would rather not wait for something bad to happen.
