By Jessica Davies The BBC Trust has officially begun the hunt for its next chair following Lord Patten’s resignation, with the successful candidate to receive a pay packet of £110,000 culture secretary Sajid Javid has revealed. Lord Patten revealed he was stepping down earlier this month, on health grounds following major heart surgery. Until his permanent successor has been appointed vice chairman Diane Coyle will assume his duties, but the position has been advertised publicly from today. The deadline for entries is 20 June.
