Wales follows in Scotland's wake adopting .Wales and .Cymru web domains

By John McCarthy Wales will soon have its own little corner of the internet when it adopts new web domains .Cymru and .Wales in November. The Welsh National Assembly will be the first site to use the domain with Media Wales’ Wales Online and Daily Post sites, and the Welsh Rugby Union set to follow. As of November, businesses will be capable of making the transition to the new adresses whereas individuals will have to wait until March 2015 to have their applications processed. Six people agreed to give up firstborn in order to access Wi-Fi

By Ishbel Macleod The public’s need for the internet is so high that six people even agreed to give up their firstborn child and beloved pets in order to access Wi-Fi, in an experiment carried out by F-Secure. In 30 minutes, 250 devices connected to the ‘poisoned’ hotspot which was set up by the UK’s Cyber Security Research Institute and SySS, a German penetration testing company, on behalf of F-Secure.
