Heineken puts £4m behind Old Mout push to raise brand awareness

By Gillian West Heineken has invested £4m in an above-the-line push to raise awareness and increase trial of its Old Mout fruit cider brand. Originating from New Zealand Old Mout was launched in the UK last year with the new campaign, created by St Luke’s, hoping to associate the brand with the adventurous Kiwi attitude to life. Andy Murray tweets to the street in #message2london campaign

Amazon ups ecommerce competition as it brings one-hour delivery to London

By Sarah Vizard The roll out means customers will be able to order more than 10,000 items through Amazon’s Prime Now mobile app between the hours of 8am and midnight and have them delivered within the hour. It includes popular items such as games consoles, sports equipment, batteries and coffee. Bing takes over the AOL search business: another Microsoft strike against Google

By Noel Young Microsoft is having another go at Google , signing a 10-year deal that will see Microsoft’s Bing replace Google as the search engine on AOL sites from January 1. AOL also will handle display, mobile and video ad sales for all of Microsoft’s properties — including MSN, Xbox and Outlook — in its top markets, including the U.S., U.K., Canada, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Japan. TiVo survey: binge watching is the new norm

For the purposes of the survey, binge viewing was defined as viewing more than three episodes of a series in a single day. Just two years ago, 53 percent of respondents had negative perceptions of binge viewing – this year, just 30 percent of respondents viewed binge watching unfavorably.
