PwC report: even as media companies struggle, sports rights are more in demand than ever

How Starbucks is using technology to boost revenue

Speaking on a conference call last night (29 October) Starbucks’s CEO Howard Schultz said that consumers have reacted well to the brand’s digital innovations. In the US, mobile payment now accounts for 21% of all transactions in its stores. Replay enlists supermodel Irina Shayk to launch 'Athleisure' range

Starring supermodel Irina Shayk, the tounge-in-cheek spot was created by 180 Amsterdam with the aim of “disproving the fundamental law of the universe that you can’t work out in denim”. Rebekah Brooks says the Sun will ditch its paywall

The majority of the content on The Sun website will be free from 30 November as the News UK publisher moves into the free ad market where rival publications such as Mail Online have found a viable financial alternative to charging monthly subscriptions.
