Mobile accounted for 40% of $4.5bn Black Friday sales

By Jennifer Faull Mobile shopping set new records on Black Friday, according to IBM, accounting for accounting for nearly 60 percent of all online traffic, an increase of 14.8 percent over 2014. Meanwhile, mobile sales tipped 40 percent of all online sales coming from mobile devices, an increase of 23.8 per cent year on year. Amazon Web Services hunts for engineering recruits with Tinder ad

Looking to snag top engineers, the company posed the ad as a profile for users within the Seattle catchment area. Seeing an opportunity to target the ad towards youthful singles with a knack for engineering, to strengthen its cloud-based product, the AWS reads: “This is not a Scam, we are actually from AWS Recruiting trying out this method To find top Engineering Talent, Please swipe right!”.
