Snapchat uses the Oscars to roll out Live Story web player

By Rebecca Stewart Snapchat used the 88th annual Academy Awards to launch its Live Stories web player, allowing fans to watch videos out-of-app for the first time. The company enlisted a series of roving reporters to cover the event from the red carpet to the after party, and visitors to Snapchat’s website were greeted with an online player offering real-time updates from the proceedings. Everton announce new sponsorship deal with Avon Tyres
