By John McCarthy Marks & Spencer is set to benefit from the most Christmas spend on the UK high street, according to research from Rakuten marketing. A survey of 2,000 consumers across the UK found saw 28% of respondents claim, of the high street shops, they will spend the most money at M&S. No doubt supplemented by its engaging Mrs Claus marketing campaign, the brand topped John Lewis whose Buster the Boxer work cost an estimated £7m. Three years ago, Flo & Eddie Inc., members of the popular ’60s band the Turtles, known for their hit “Happy Together,” filed three lawsuits against SiriusXM for playing its songs without permission, claiming copyright protection under state laws in California, Florida and New York.
