iQiyi bolsters kids content with Nickelodeon streaming deal

By Danielle Long iQiyi has inked a content streaming deal with Viacom International to stream Nickelodeon content on its entertainment platform. The multi-year deal will provide iQiyi with the rights to stream Mandarin and English Nickelodeon programs in mainland China for programs such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Top Wing, Rusty Rivets and Rise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The deal builds on the two entertainment companies previous deal in 2017 which gave iQiyi exclusive streaming rights to Nickelodeon programs Shimmer and Shine and Blaze and the Monster Machines. Mozilla asks for public opinion to evolve its brand

According to Mozilla blog, that fast fox with a flaming tail as an icon doesn’t offer enough design tools to represent Mozilla’s entire product family. Friends named as UK's most popular OTT show

By Taruka Srivastav American sitcom, Friends powered ahead of ‘The Crown’ and ‘The Grand Tour’ to become the most popular show on paid-for streaming platforms in the UK. The survey, conducted by Ofcom, further highlighted how Friends episodes had twice as many episodes streamed in the first three months of 2018. ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Peaky Blinders’ occupied the fourth and fifth spot respectively. Meanwhile, the top 10 titles in Q1 2018 were dominated by Netflix; four in 10 shows were Netflix originals. However, only five of the top 20 shows originated in the UK. UKTV channels return to Virgin TV as pricing dispute settled

By Stephen Lepitak UKTV and Virgin Media have settled their dispute which will see the return of channels and services to the Virgin TV package. The pricing dispute, which ultimately saw UKTV pull its channels, has been resolved and Virgin will be able to offer the full range of services once again immediately, it has said.
