Unilever uses ‘scent emission units’ to push new Surf fragrance

Unilever is launching a multi-sensory campaign for its new Surf fragrance, which will see ‘scent emission units’ installed in shopping centres around the country.

The two-week campaign, created by Kinetic Active, includes a number of out-of-home initiatives and will see bespoke digital posters, which emit the new fragrance at timed intervals, appear in six shopping malls across the country from 30 June.

The interactive drive will be spearheaded by brand mascot Surfy, encouraging shoppers to play a game of hopscotch using brightly coloured flower vinyl graphics on the floor in front of ad panels.
