Ed Miliband has spoken out about his controversial decision to pose with the Sun newspaper and the angry backlash that followed, admitting he only has himself to blame for the “mistake”.
The Labour leader faced a torrent of criticism for being seen to promote the tabloid, which is still rejected on Merseyside over its discredited account of the Hillsborough disaster.
