Instagram has launched a new ‘one-tap’ messaging app for iOS and Android devices which allows mobile users to instantly send and receive image and video content – which then deletes once seen.
An evolution of the tried and tested Snapchat/Taptalk formula the system enables users to send content simply by tapping a friend’s face for photos or long-pressing for videos. Messages sent in error can be undone simply by giving the phone a shake.
Budding Bolters are sadly restricted by geographic availability of the service, which is only available in New Zealand, Singapore and South Africa.
