A Californian teacher has apologised for posting offensive tweets where she said she wanted to “stab some kids” and pour coffee on “the little a-holes”.

Krista Hodges, a teacher at Newark Memorial High School, received a written reprimand from district officials after the school was alerted to her posts by a colleague.

On 23 June Hodges tweeted, “I wanna stab some kids. Is that bad? 19 more days”. Another tweet reads: “I am getting Starbucks for sure before school tomorrow. That way I’ll be refreshed AND have something to dump on the little a-holes.”
