Pirate Bay resurfaces with rebranded site just weeks after being closed down by police

File sharing website The Pirate Bay is back in business online just seven weeks after it was taken offline by Swedish police, who seized its computers and servers, complete with a new look that dispatches its famous pirate ship for a logo depicting a phoenix rising from the ashes.

This period has seen its webmasters switch to a .se domain for the relaunched site, which retains the functionality and data of the original although it is currently not hosting any adverts.
