Edinburgh Fringe Festival names Mediacom Edinburgh as media agency

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival has named Mediacom Edinburgh as it’s media planning and buyng agency.

Appointed by the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society, the Edinburgh-based media planner and buyer will take over from AKA in servicing the account.

Elizabeth Burchell, head of marketing and sponsorship, commented: “The Fringe Society is an impartial organisation and our role is to promote the festival itself rather than individual shows. We work to attract an audience to the Fringe as an event, once we achieve that individual venues and participants can then pitch the relative merits of their shows.
