Comedy Central has chosen 31-year-old South African comedian, Trevor Noah, to take over The Daily Show after current host Jon Stewart, leaves later this year.
The news was first broken by The New York Times this morning, though Noah confirmed the article shortly after via Twitter.
No-one can replace Jon Stewart. But together with the amazing team at The Daily Show, we will continue to make this the best damn news show!

The comedian is currently a correspondent for the news-satire show, but has only made three appearances so far.
