Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has implied fans will be disappointed by tonight’s (Sunday 28 June) “cobbled together” final episode of the show.

Pieced together from footage shot before the infamous fracas, Clarkson recorded a new voiceover for the show, under the terms of his old contract, with Hammond and May filming new links.

Speaking via his column in The Sun, Clarkson said: “At 8pm tomorrow, BBC2 is screening an edition of Top Gear cobbled together from two films that were made before I got fired. One of them is quite good.”
