Dogs Trust takes advantage of emoji popularity with canine keyboard

The charity’s awareness campaign wis tapping the rocketing popularity of emojis to help find homes for some of the hundreds of dogs that find themselves at their centres each year.

The keyboard consists of 23 of the most popular breeds in the UK including pugs, dachshunds, great Danes, as well as even more exotic doggies like Shar-Peis and huskies.

Adrian Burder, chief executive of Dogs Trust, said the emojis which would allow people to “celebrate the wonderful variety of our UK population in a fun and creative way”.
