We Are Social, the global social media agency, has named Rob FitzGerald, president of Big Fuel Communications, as its president in the US.

FitzGerald will take over the running of the US division of the agency from managing director Leila Thabet who launched it in 2012.

He was promoted to president in February having joined Big Fuel as managing director in 2013.
