So warned an unnamed senior UK newspaper industry figure, while US technology writer Matthew Ingram declared in Fortune magazine that for some players in the media industry, “this looks like a cross between a Class five hurricane and a neutron bomb headed straight for their balance sheets”.
“This” is ad blocking, but are we really talking some online apocalypse here, or is the publishing world in danger of rushing into panic mode?
