Donald Trump’s statement that Muslims should be banned from entering the US “disqualifies” him from being president, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said on Tuesday.

While the Republican frontrunner has not been officially disqualified from running for president, Earnest’s statement sparked the hashtag ‘#TrumpIsDisqualifiedParty’ on Twitter where tens of thousands of users are posting memes and gifs that celebrate the thought of Trump actually being disqualified.
