Chris Evans has reportedly dropped presenting the revived TFI Friday on Channel 4 in a bid to focus on his first series of Top Gear.

According to The Sunday Times, Evans has chosen to step away from TFI which was brought back for a series of 10 programmes earlier this year, in order to concentrate on his role as the main present of the BBC motoring programme, which is set to broadcast in May.

The report quoted ‘a source’ that claimed that the pressure of working on both programmes at once was “immense”
