America’s unpredictable presidential race has taken another twist after media tycoon Michael Bloomberg hinted that he might be tempted to throw his hat into the ring in an effort to see-off fellow billionaire Donald Trump.

Trump, who is currently front-runner in the race to be crowned Republican nominee for the White House, reacted to the news with trademark bombast – declaring that he would ‘love’ to face-off against his former friend.
