STV are readying the launch of a dedicated news app which has been in development for the last two years.
The STV News app is due for release sometime next month and will provide a host of Scottish news as well as sport and weather.
STV chief executive Rob Woodward told The Drum that STV has “undertaken a huge amount of research and identified a gap in the market which led to the creation of the app.”
Woodward revealed that the app would encorporate “heavily captioned short form news clips,” similar to those which STV news has recently begun using on Facebook. The Read full story ›
