Minogue and Jenner clash over ‘Kylie’ trademark

Kylie Minogue is looking to cease reality star Kylie Jenner’s trademarking of her first name Kylie.

The Australian musician is looking to stop the Keeping Up With the Kardashians celebrity from trademarking the name Kylie for “entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment, fashion and pop culture”.

KDB Pty Ltd, on behalf of Minogue, blocked the application filed May 2015 on the grounds that it created the “likelihood of confusion, dilution by blurring and dilution by tarnishment”.
