Zynga founder Mark Pincus quits CEO role again

Zynga founder Mark Pincus has quit his role as chief executive of the social gaming firm less than a year after returning to the post after it was announced that Frank Gibeau, formerly of Electronic Arts, will fill his shoes.

Zynga reappointed Pincus to the position of CEO last year following the failure of former Microsoft employee Don Mattrick to replicate the success of Faceboook hit Farmville in the mobile sphere, leading to fears that the company was a one hit wonder.
