Dating app Tinder has tied the knot with Humin after being drawn to the San Francisco-based start-up’s contact management expertise.
Whilst terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed it is understood that Tinder will essentially requisition Humin’s east coast base for its San Francisco office – with senior staff all transferring to Tinder.
This includes Humin co-founders Ankur Jain and David Wyler who will join Tinder’s executive team as VP of product and VP of partnerships.
Tinder co-founder Sean Rad said that he had been motivated to snap up Humin in order to obtain their ‘experience and IP to accelerate our product roadmap’.
