Tokyo-based Bitcoin exchange MtGox has issued its first public statement since the service was Taken offline following a £210m theft.
In it, exchange boss Mark Karpeles said he was ‘working very hard with the support of different parties’ to get the service back up and running, and reassured he investors he hadn’t fled the country: “I would like to use this opportunity to reassure everyone that I am still in Japan,
