Former President Bill Clinton delivered a long, personal tale of his romance with Hillary which charmed the conference and did much to make the would -be first woman president seem much more human.
“In the spring of 1971,” Mr. Clinton who is 69 , began, “I met a girl.” She was a law student at the time and Bill said he proposed three times – the first time on a visit to Britain – before she finally said yes in 1975.
