Research shows that Asthma sufferers with personalised Asthma action plans (PAAP) are four times less likely to be hospitalised with their illness, as a result, Asthma UK is set to develop an app to raise awareness around the plans.
To help asthma sufferers manage their illnesses, the group will push gamified learning on mobile devices, following up on National Review of Asthma Deaths research that claims have of UK people with asthma are without a treatment plan.
Asthma UK looks to aid education around the issue, as a preventative measure to reduce attacks and incidents that require hospitalisation.
