Twitter UK’s senior director of media partnerships, Lewis Wiltshire is to leave the social media platform he has announced.
In a number of tweets he announced his decision to leave to return to the world of sport, having joined in 2012 as the first head of sport.
He was initially tasked with leading Twitter’s involvement around the London Olympics in 2012 and bringing on board some of the world’s biggest sporting names to adopt using Twitter.
He soon became director of media partnerships in May 2013 and was also made global chair of sports in July 2014.
