Figures from media and advertising have been recognised in the 2017 New Year’s Honours list including Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour being made a dame, a CBE for M&C Saatchi chairman Jeremy Sinclair and an OBE for Credos director Karen Fraser.
This year’s honours, which also see Olympic champions Andy Murray and Mo Farah receive Knighthoods, include many names from across society being recognised for their contributions.
Wintour is made a dame for services to fashion and journalism while Sinclair takes the CBE for services to advertising.
