Facebook has announced that Nada Stirratt, former chief executive of location-based mobile marketing platform Verve, and Ty Ahmad-Taylor, former chief executive and president of media and consumer electronics company THX, are joining its Global Marketing Solutions team.

Stirratt will serve as vice president of global marketing solutions in the US and Canada. In this role, she will lead the US Global Marketing Solutions team, focusing on growing Facebook’s advertising business and helping marketers and agencies better connect with their consumers.
