HBO, the American satellite and television network, has admitted to being the victim of hackers who are alleged to have run off with yet to be broadcast material; including an as yet unaired script for its flagship series ‘Game of Thrones‘.

While HBO has refused to confirm nor deny the specific content affected, rumours have been rife that the George R.R. Martin adaptation could be one of the biggest name casualties of the security lapse.
