Location-based tech business GroundTruth has confirmed the closure of its UK presence in the wake of the introduction of GDPR over a year ago in Europe.
GroundTruth operates a third-party data model. The introduction of GDPR regulations across the EU has subsequently hampered its offer, despite the GDPR-dedicated page of the company’s homepage declaring ‘We’re GDPR ready’.
The company has chosen to relocate its European operations into its offices in Germany, although it continued to list its UK presence on its website at the time of writing.
